Let Us Remember

Today, as we take time to enjoy picnics, barbecues and simply spending time with family and friends, Crissy and I join those who honor the men and women who paid the ultimate price for our country.
As I travel the state and meet with the men and women who wear our uniform of today, and those who wore our uniform of yesterday, I am reminded of the courage and sacrifice of our armed services, and encouraged by those who serve a cause larger than themselves.
To the families of those fallen soldiers who will spend this Memorial Day without a father or mother, brother or sister, son or daughter, Crissy and I send our thoughts, prayers, and deepest appreciation for freedom’s gift that they have bestowed to our family and the families across this great state.
Grateful for their service and sacrifice,

Bill Haslam
